Tips and Pics!!!

Writing with Storybird.

Kids simply love this website! Besides being super easy, its illustrations are amazing. As a teacher, I love it because there is an area for teachers to create a classroom. It will demand some time to create an account to each student, but it will be worth it. As the manager you can include or delete students' accounts and you can change their password in case they forget it.

Your students will create amazing books and they'll have tons of fun!

Jeopardy Game.

Here is a tutorial on how to make your own jeopardy game on power point! You can either do it yourself using card board or you could create it on power point. It works fine and it is a different way of playing. I suggest this game as a review.

How to play:

1. Divide the class into teams.

2. Ask the first member of the chosen team to select a point value from any category.

3. They must answer the question correctly to be able to get the points.

4. Keep track of each teams' scores.

Dry erase boards.

Dry erase boards are very useful and eco friendly =)

Besides being very easy to make (all you need is contact paper and a dry erase pen), it is cheap and you can reuse it over and over again, isn't it genius???

You can use it to play games or just as an activity. Kids really enjoy them, you should definitely try!

Creative games.

Have you ever seen those signs "Take what you need", and then you rip the paper off? Well this game is exactly like them.

To prepare this game you will need a paper trimmer (I have got one that perforates) and scissors.

Behind each card there is a task, or a word in which kids will have to work on.

It is fun and it can be used in different ways, so be creative!
